Airport & Travel Outfits

What do you do when you’re on the move (especially for long hours) and want to be as comfy as possible but still look cute? Pick your fave soft tee, shorts or leggings, and ditch the underwire for a comfy bralette! Don’t forget to wear those comfortable walking shoes too–it’ll take the bulkiness out of your luggage if you’re wearing the things that take up the most space! Opt for a light t-shirt dress if you wanna keep things extra minimal. Oh, and don’t forget your sunnies or eye mask for sleeping on your red-eye!

 

 

Dresses

Dresses are essential pieces to have when traveling. In fact, if we can get things like outfit planning done in one go, we’re happy campers. Dresses make getting ready in the morning super easy and quick (not to mention comfortable). They’re also easy to pack and are a no-brainer if you’ve got a tight itinerary to see all the sights! Be sure to pack long and short dresses, casual and more dressed up options to have one for every possible occasion. You never know when a fancy dinner might come up!

Casual Vacation Dresses

Strolling in the town for a nice lunch? Grocery shopping in the local marketplace to prep food in the Airbnb? How about a breezy walk down by the water? Whatever you’ve got planned for your hot weather vacation, pack a few dressed up day dresses to keep you cool and stylish on your trip. Yes, these are totally IG-approved vacation dresses from mini to maxi dress silhouettes!

 

Getting Dressier

If your vacation calls for more formal attire–say, a formal night dinner aka “Elegant Night” on cruises, or a fancy celebration–be sure to pack a formal dress! Go for dresses in longer lengths for classier joints, or pack a short semi-formal one if you’re certain it doesn’t get any dressier than a cute lace dress! We recommend throwing in clean ankle strap heels to conserve space in your luggage, but also because they’re classic and go with everything! You can dress anything up with a nice pair of heels.

Casual Outfits

Are dresses not your thing? Keeping things separate for more outfit variety? When your vacation days are filled with activities like going on a lengthy tour of the town and its historical monuments, or if you just don’t want to fall victim to a strong breeze, go for some trendy separates that are equally as insta-worthy, versatile, and oh-so-cute for everyday wear.

You can’t go wrong with flowy crop tops and blouses that will keep you cool all day long. Be sure to pack essential black denim shorts, and denim in your favorite wash. They’ll go with all the cute tops you brought with you! We also love taking a light pair of shorts like a chic pair of white shorts that don’t cling as much as denim in case things get hot and humid.

If you’ve got an abundance of solid colored tops, pair them with cute patterned shorts or skirts to balance your look and make those trendy patterns POP. When things get hot (or even wet) for say, a day at the pool or beach, a solid white or black top paired with light patterned shorts will definitely do the trick.

Rompers & Jumpsuits

If dresses aren’t your thing, but you don’t want to put a lot of thought on your outfits each day, opt for chic romper styles and jumpsuits that will take the guesswork out of your vacation outfit planning. We love these one-and-done styles you can throw on over your bikinis, bralettes, or even when going braless. Go for festive patterned styles like florals, bright lace rompers, or light solid colored pieces on your next vacay!

 

Co-ord Sets

Long live the co-ord–two-piece sets that match from top to bottom. If you want something that matches to mimic a chic summer dress, but still want the option to pair with denim bottoms if you wanted to, co-ords or coordinates are your best bet! Wear the top with a denim skirt during a casual shopping day, and change to the matching floral skirt piece at night for a chic day to night look. It’s slightly dressed up and slightly dressed down–perfect for a dinner on the beach or a cool party kinda night in the tropics.

Co-ord sets also make fantastic beach and pool coverups! Since they’re separate, you can take the top off and just rock your bikini top with trendy gingham shorts. You can easily throw the top into your bag and throw it back on when you feel like it!
