First season’s Penny Dreadful left us shook. But first, let’s talk about hottie Josh Hartnett returning to the small screen in this haunted anthology series based on memorable and eerie tales we grew up loving including Dr.Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, Dracula, and more. Hey Silence of the Lambs fans, you’re in for a real (human) treat. Hannibal is so dark, so gruesome, we hear some people can’t stand to sit through a single episode.
Sure, it’s a horror TV show, but it’s unmistakable that it’s beautifully shot. Somehow you can’t help but keep following the story of this crazed man. Spoiler alert: he eats people. What is he eating in this photo? Is it brains? Liver? TOES?! You’ll have to watch the show to find out.

Episodes are set in an unknown foreboding dystopian future and take on themes such as the impact of social media, fame, and the criminal justice system, complicating our perceptions on technological advancement and connectivity, revealing how technology can make us feel connected but can simultaneously disconnect us.
Black Mirror is an intense look at our changing world. Season 4 is no exception. Pro-tip: try not to binge watch this all at once, it can get quite depressing.

Bad news–things won’t get strange again ’til summer 2019. That doesn’t mean you can’t put this scary TV show on repeat until then! One of the newest and most talked about series on Netflix within the past two years is Stranger Things, and it’s left tons of questions unanswered – as any good show should.
Seasons 1 and 2 carried us through some seriously strange things happening in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana: disappearances of missing children, kids with supernatural abilities, an obsession with eggo waffles, and who knows what the hell goes on in “upside down place.” It’s got exactly what you love about popular themes in the 80’s style genre: an electric style soundtrack, young teenage angst, and an unforgettable group (think The Goonies) of bad ass kids.

Our childhood memories consist of Bubble Tape gum, Bop It competitions, and Are You Afraid of the Dark on Saturday nights, an original Nickelodeon kid horror series.
Each episode begins with a group of kids taking turns telling old tales (true or not, you decide) over a dark, toasty campfire full of prom horror stories, creepy clown encounters, and a terrifying red ghost emerging from an ancient burial ground you just can’t unsee.
Ultimately, it really made us wonder what the hell we were getting into as kids. But fellow fans, it’s time to rejoice! An Are You Afraid of the Dark movie is in the works, with none other than Stephen King’s IT screenwriter, which became the highest grossing horror film of all time!
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, the release date will be October 11, 2019. We’ll be waiting to set up camp until then!
